Did a Lost Kungfu Technique Just Reappear in China?
Looks like Martial arts masters from all over country and various periods in history just gathered in Changsha, Hunan Province.
Shiyan Hu Ecological Park held a light body kungfu competition on April 28.
Participants were dressed as martial arts masters or other characters.
They are asked to walk on the 164-feet-long mat on the water surface, and the first one to get to the finish line would be rewarded a prize of 1000 yuan (about $161), according to yes-news.com.
Interestingly, there were characters from different fields attending the event, such as a swordsman with white robes, Pigsy from Journey to the West, a Chinese fairy, and even Pleasant Goat from the animated TV series Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf.
From a little distance away, it looks just like running on water. You can see from the pictures that participants had to work very hard trying to accomplish the mission. However, most of them fell down shortly after starting.
