A call to protect reservations and Constitution
Guntur – Andhra Pradesh (Before It’s News – IC): Yashwant Ambedkar, grandson of Dr. B R Ambedkar, addressed a massive gathering at the Mala Mahagarjana Sabha in Nallapadu, Guntur, on Sunday. Speaking as the chief guest, he fiercely criticized the central government and the recent Supreme Court verdict allowing states to classify Scheduled Castes under Article 341 of the Constitution.
Ambedkar stated, “The Supreme Court’s seven-member bench has delivered an ambiguous verdict that undermines the Constitution and paves the way for discrimination within the reservation system.”

Opposition to SC classification and government’s role
Ambedkar alleged that the central government is orchestrating a conspiracy to dilute the reservation system by leveraging the Supreme Court. He warned, “This verdict is part of a larger scheme to deny future generations the opportunity to question the loss of their rightful reservations.”
The Mala community, he said, is raising its voice against this injustice, sending a clear message to both the ruling party and the opposition.
Praising community’s unity
Ambedkar hailed the Mala community for their unwavering commitment to protecting the Constitution and reservations. “The Malalas are the true descendants of Ambedkar,” he declared, praising their efforts to safeguard social justice.
The event witnessed participation from lakhs of people, symbolizing the growing unrest and unity among marginalized communities. Ambedkar concluded by urging continued vigilance and solidarity to counter attempts to erode constitutional rights.
