Attack on Dalits sparks outrage
Nagiri – Andhra Pradesh (Before It’s News – IC): In Tadukupet, near the Nagiri constituency in Chittoor district, upper-caste individuals reportedly attacked Dalits, burned their motorcycles, and restricted them from wearing sandals or entering the village secretariat. The alleged caste-based discrimination and violence have drawn widespread condemnation.
CPI Chittoor District Secretary S Nagaraju, DHPS District President V Damodaram, and DHPS District Secretary TC Mahesh issued a joint statement denouncing the incident as a blatant attack on social harmony.

The CPI and DHPS leaders demanded the following:
