Gavvala Srikanth Urges Leaders To Fight For Political Power

He emphasized the need for self-representation in governance rather than merely supporting other parties.

Outrage over Ambedkar statue insult
Addressing the recent desecration of Dr. B R Ambedkar’s statue in Sarangapur Mandal, Srikanth criticized the slow response of law enforcement. He demanded the immediate arrest of all involved, warning that failure to act would result in protests across the district, including a demonstration in front of the Collector’s office.

Call for political mobilization
Srikanth urged SC, ST, and BC minorities to seize state power by contesting elections rather than merely supporting other leaders. He stated that current laws favour only 3% of the population, leaving marginalized groups behind. He called for active participation in local elections, from ward members to ZPTC seats, and assured assistance in securing the necessary documentation for candidates.

New leadership appointments
During the meeting, Srikanth announced the appointment of Misala Lingam as Jagityal District President, Badineni Mallesh as Sarangapur Mandal President, Ravula Chandu as Karimnagar District Secretary, and Sheikh Jilani as Adilabad District Coordinator.

Electoral support and future strategy
Srikanth assured that BPAM (Bahujan Political Assistance Mission) would provide support to those paying house tax and obtaining caste certificates for electoral participation. Interested candidates were encouraged to contact the dedicated helpline (9492744055).
Several Dalit Bahujan Party (DBP) leaders, including Anantula Swamy, MD Suleman, MD Salim, Meesala Chandrayya, and Gudla Venkatesh, attended the meeting, reinforcing the call for Bahujan empowerment and active electoral participation.
