What Would Jesus Want You to Know Right Now?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

There is so much speculation about what will happen in the last days. I have spent a great deal of time studying the end times, fascinated by the varying interpretations. Over the course of my studies, my own beliefs have evolved as well. I have often prayed, asking God why the Bible is so vague about such significant events. Why is the Book of Revelation written in such symbolic language? Why not just lay things out plainly?

Jesus taught in parables—stories that deepen understanding and remain relevant even 2,000 years later. Yet, when it comes to the end times, why does everything seem so complex? Why, even with prayer and reflection, do these teachings remain unclear?

I was led to this scripture:

Acts 1:7
“And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.”

This reinforces the idea that certain knowledge—especially concerning the end times—remains within God’s sovereign will. There are many scriptures instructing us to be prepared, but have you ever considered that God intentionally keeps some things hidden?

The Bible calls believers to live faithfully, trust in God’s sovereignty, and be ready for the future without obsessing over the details of the end times. But why?

Jesus would want us to know that His love is unwavering, His grace is sufficient, and His invitation to follow Him remains open to all. He would remind us to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). In a world filled with division, uncertainty, and hardship, He calls us to unity, peace, and faith.

He would want us to trust Him completely, knowing that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). No matter how broken we feel, how lost we may be, or how heavy our burdens are, He is there to lift us, heal us, and guide us forward (Matthew 11:28-30).

Most importantly, He would call us to action—feeding the hungry, comforting the sorrowful, showing mercy, and standing for truth with kindness (Matthew 25:35-40). Faith isn’t just about belief; it’s about how we live. He calls us to be the light of the world, bringing hope and love to those around us (Matthew 5:14-16).

Whatever struggles you may be facing right now, Jesus would whisper:
“Fear not, for I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20)

Why Doesn’t God Reveal Everything About the End Times?

The Bible, especially the King James Version, contains multiple passages suggesting that God has chosen not to reveal every detail of the end times—or at least not in a way we can fully comprehend. Jesus Himself said:

Matthew 24:36
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

While the Bible gives us signs and events to watch for, the exact timing and full understanding are reserved for God alone. But why?

  1. Faith and Trust – God wants us to trust Him rather than trying to predict and control the future. If we knew everything, would we still rely on Him as deeply? Trusting in God, even when we don’t understand, is a key part of our spiritual journey.
  2. Living with Purpose – Jesus calls us to be ready at all times. He warns in Matthew 24:42-44:
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.”
Instead of fixating on when the end will come, we are called to live righteously every day.
  3. Avoiding Fear and Distraction – Too much knowledge could lead to fear, anxiety, or distraction from the things that truly matter—loving God, serving others, and living by faith.
  4. God’s Sovereignty – If we fully understood everything, would we still revere God’s power and authority? By revealing only parts of His plan, He reminds us that He is in control and that our role is to trust in His wisdom.

While books like Revelation contain symbols and prophecies that may be difficult to grasp, the core message is clear: God wins. Evil will not prevail, and those who remain faithful will share in His eternal kingdom.

Whether we understand every detail or not, our call remains the same—to stay faithful, live with love, and trust in His divine plan.

I have decided to stop trying to “Decode the Scriptures” regarding the End Times. This is quite a big deal for me to state this, as it has been my focus for the past 7 years. I feel that I have learned all that I need to know about the end times. HOWEVER, I will not stop reporting on the events as they continue to unfold.

I am filled with peace in knowing that God is watching over us, and that He has a plan. He has given us the knowledge that He, and His followers win in the end. There is so much comfort in knowing this.
