The Pope’s Funeral: A Satanic Ritual of Sun Worship?

There are many people out there, even within my own friends and family, who are not awake as to the deception that is happening in our world right now. Whatever their reasons are, today, I must scream from the rooftops…”WAKE UP! You are falling for the deception that has been prophesied for the end times. You are at risk to succumbing to the deceptions of the Antichrist.

The death of a pope triggers a global event—a majestic funeral broadcast to billions. To the world, it looks like a Christian ceremony of mourning. But for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, it is something much darker. Beneath the flowing robes, gold ornaments, and ancient prayers lies a ritual that traces its roots not to Jesus Christ, but to the ancient worship of the sun—and ultimately, to Satan himself.

From the very beginning, Satan has sought to counterfeit the true worship of God. He knows that the easiest way to lead people astray is to disguise paganism as something holy. The pope’s funeral is a prime example of this satanic deception.

The Evidence of Sun Worship is Overwhelming:

St. Peter’s Basilica, where the pope’s body lies in state, is oriented eastward toward the sunrise—a hallmark of pagan sun temples. True biblical worship points upward to God, not horizontally to the created sun.

Sunburst Symbols Everywhere:

The Vatican is covered in sunburst imagery. The “monstrance,” supposedly used to honor Christ in the Eucharist, is actually a golden sunburst, an ancient symbol of sun worship adopted straight from pagan Rome.

What is a sunburst symbol?

• A sunburst is an image of rays of light radiating outward from a center point (like the sun).
• It looks beautiful and majestic — but beauty can be deceiving.

What did the sunburst mean in ancient paganism?

• The sunburst represented the sun god — worshiped under different names in different cultures:
  • Ra (Egypt)
  • Sol Invictus (Rome)
  • Shamash (Babylon)
  • Apollo (Greece)

The sun was seen as a life-giver, ruler, and source of divine power — so pagans naturally worshiped it, building temples, offering sacrifices, and using the sunburst symbol to honor it.

The sunburst was literally a sign of idolatry — giving the glory that belongs to God alone to a created thing.

How does the sunburst connect to evil?
Because the Bible is extremely clear:

• Worshiping the sun, stars, or anything created is a grievous sin.
• Deuteronomy 4:19 warns:

“And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them…“

• Worshiping the sun was a gateway into full-blown demonic deception.
• Sun worship is tied directly to Baal worship, Molech, and false gods that demanded child sacrifices and gross abominations.

The sunburst today (in the wrong context) signals the same ancient rebellion:

• It honors creation over the Creator.
• It points back to the ancient Mystery Religions — Babylon, Egypt, and Rome — all under satanic influence.
• It represents false light — Satan himself.

Remember:

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14)

Satan doesn’t usually show up with horns and a pitchfork — he masquerades as beautiful light. The sunburst symbol can represent that fake, deceiving light.

Modern Example:

• In the Catholic Church, the monstrance (which holds the Eucharist) is often shaped exactly like a sunburst.
• It’s supposed to honor Christ — but the design clearly mirrors ancient sun worship, not anything taught in Scripture.
• It’s a subtle mixture: a little truth (Christ’s name) blended with ancient idolatry (sun worship)—a recipe for deception.

The sunburst symbol, when used in religious settings today, is a leftover of ancient sun worship — it is a satanic counterfeit of God’s true light, and it invites idolatry instead of pure worship of Jesus Christ.

The Procession of the Dead:

The pope’s body is paraded like a fallen god-king, just as the pagans once honored their dead sun kings, offering incense, chants, and rituals meant to grant them favor in the afterlife.

Procession of the Dead has long been associated with evil, spiritual darkness, and warnings of judgment in history and folklore.

In European medieval tradition, the Procession of the Dead was often called the Wild Hunt or The Furious Host. People believed that at certain times — especially around All Souls’ Day, winter solstice, or during plagues and war — a ghostly army of the dead would sweep across the land.

• These were not peaceful souls; they were damned spirits, unrepentant sinners, or those who had been excommunicated or cursed.
• It was said that seeing the procession could bring death or doom to the living.
• Sometimes the leader of the procession was a demonic figure, or even Satan himself.

In a Christian sense, the “Procession of the Dead” is symbolic of what happens when death reigns instead of life through Christ. Evil ceremonies, hypocritical religious shows, or false worship can mimic the appearance of holiness but are actually a “parade” of spiritual death. 2 Corinthians 11:14 warns us: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Colors of Scarlet and Purple:

Revelation 17 vividly describes the Great Whore, the apostate religious system, clothed in purple and scarlet and drunk with the blood of the saints. It is no coincidence that these are the Vatican’s traditional colors, proudly worn during the funeral rites.

This woman (the false religious system) is rich, powerful, and politically connected, but she is also deeply sinful and guilty of spiritual adultery (idolatry and compromise with worldly powers).

Now, here’s where it gets even more interesting:

• The Vatican’s cardinals wear scarlet robes.
• The bishops and many officials of the Catholic Church wear purple.
• The pope himself is often dressed in garments of these colors during major ceremonies (especially funerals).

The “golden cup” in her hand?

• The Catholic Church famously uses a golden chalice in its Mass ceremonies — another striking match to the prophecy.

Bottom line:
“Arrayed in purple and scarlet” is a direct clue pointing to a wealthy, powerful, and apostate religious system that masquerades as holy but is actually committing spiritual fornication and it fits the Vatican’s imagery and traditions with shocking accuracy.

Obelisks and Sun Disks:

Right in front of St. Peter’s Basilica stands an Egyptian obelisk—an ancient symbol of the sun god Ra’s phallic power—transplanted from pagan Egypt to the heart of Roman “Christianity.” Why would a church devoted to Jesus Christ display such an abomination?

What is an obelisk?
An obelisk is a tall, four-sided, narrow monument that tapers to a point at the top. Ancient Egypt is where obelisks became famous — they were often built at the entrances of temples.

What did it mean to the Egyptians?

• The obelisk symbolized a ray of the sun.
• It was specifically connected to the worship of the sun god Ra (or Amun-Ra).
• It was a phallus symbol — meaning it represented male reproductive power and energy.
• The obelisk was seen as a connection between the earth and the sun, acting like a bridge for divine power to reach the rulers (pharaohs) and the temples.

In short: The obelisk is a symbol of sun worship and fertility power — totally pagan, deeply spiritual, and not from God.

Now here’s the big twist:

• When the Roman Empire merged with Christianity in the 4th century, a lot of pagan artifacts were not destroyed — they were rebranded.
• The Vatican actually moved an Egyptian obelisk from Heliopolis (a major center of sun worship) and placed it right in St. Peter’s Square.
• It stands there to this day — an ancient monument of sun worship, dead center in what is supposed to be Christianity’s holiest ground.

This is deeply symbolic:

• It shows that the Vatican didn’t destroy paganism — it absorbed it.
• The obelisk’s shadow even points toward St. Peter’s Basilica depending on the time of day, making it a functioning solar instrument.

Biblical connection:

• In Ezekiel 8:16, God showed the prophet that inside the Temple of the Lord, men were standing with their backs to God and facing east toward the sun — and He called it an “abomination.”

“And they worshipped the sun toward the east.” — Ezekiel 8:16

The presence of an Egyptian sun pillar right at the heart of Vatican worship is a visible sign of spiritual corruption.

In short:
The Egyptian obelisk is a monument to sun worship, pagan fertility rituals, and rebellion against the true God — and it has absolutely no place in true Christianity.

The Bible’s Warning Rings Loud and Clear:

Deuteronomy 17:3 condemns “those who have gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven.”

Ezekiel 8:16 records God’s fury when He showed the prophet men worshiping the sun in His own temple—calling it an abomination that provoked His wrath.

We are witnessing the same blasphemy today on a grander, more global scale.

Satan’s Masterpiece of Deception

The funeral of the pope is not merely a religious event—it is a satanic ritual masquerading as Christianity. It is a ceremony designed to glorify the ancient gods of Rome, particularly the sun god, under the false banner of Christ.

Jesus Christ warned in Matthew 24:24:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

The Vatican’s pageantry, its golden idols, its blending of paganism with the name of Christ—this is the deception Jesus warned us about.

Come Out of Her, My People

Revelation 18:4 is the call for all who love the Lord:

“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

The time to wake up is now. Do not be seduced by the grandeur and beauty of satanic rituals dressed in Christian robes. Worship the true God—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—through His Son Jesus Christ, in Spirit and in Truth.

The Popes Throne.

You can see the pope seated at the face of the sculpture “Resurrection” by Pericle Fazzini, located in the Paul VI Audience Hall at the Vatican. It’s a huge bronze piece (over 66 feet wide and 23 feet high), made in the 1970s, depicting Jesus rising from a nuclear bomb crater.

Many people, especially in recent years, have noticed that from certain angles, parts of the sculpture — combined with the architecture of the hall — give a really eerie impression. Some say it looks like a serpent’s head: the folds and twists of the sculpture resemble snake scales, and the overall background and symmetry of the hall (including the curved windows) can look like the eyes of a snake.

The Vatican says the piece is supposed to show Christ rising in triumph over death, not anything evil. But the imagery is strange enough that many people — especially those critical of the Vatican — point to it as symbolic of something darker. What do YOU see?

Pegan Symbols Throughout the Vatican

(Notice it sits in the midst of a sunburst.)

First, IHC (or more often IHS) is very old and originally Christian, not satanic. It’s a Christogram — a symbol that shortens or represents the name of Jesus.
It comes from the first three letters of Jesus’ name in Greek:

• ΙΗΣΟΥΣ = Iēsous = Jesus
• The first three Greek letters are ΙΗΣ (iota-eta-sigma), which, when Latinized, becomes IHS or IHC (depending on the script).

In the Vatican, you see “IHS” a lot on altars, vestments, architecture — it’s basically shorthand for “Jesus.” Sometimes it’s interpreted to mean things like:

• “Iesus Hominum Salvator” = “Jesus, Savior of Men.”

BUT, in more recent years, especially among conspiracy researchers, some have suggested a satanic twist:

• Some say that in occult symbolism, IHS/IHC could be secretly linked to the Egyptian goddess Isis, the god Horus, and Set — ancient Egyptian deities, some associated with death and the underworld.
• Others argue that the Jesuits (a Catholic order that uses “IHS” as their seal) have hidden, darker intentions, and that IHS is a disguised way of pledging loyalty to false gods.

In short:

• Official Vatican meaning = Jesus Christ.
• Conspiracy interpretation = Hidden pagan or satanic reference to ancient Egyptian deities, or even an inversion mocking Jesus.

There’s no official Vatican admission of anything sinister. But if you’re someone who believes there’s a lot of hidden corruption in the Vatican (and many do), it’s interesting how much “dual meaning” some of their symbols could have.

The Serpent Building Vatican’s Paul VI Audience Hall

Also called the Hall of the Pontifical Audiences. This building has drawn intense scrutiny from Christians and watchers of end-time signs, especially those who discern spiritual evil behind appearances.

The Building Resembles a Serpent

• Exterior:
  From the outside, the entire structure looks like a serpent’s head.
  • The curved roof resembles the top of a snake’s head.
  • The side windows look like serpent eyes.
• Interior:
  Inside the hall, the design continues:
  • The ceiling has ribbed, scale-like patterns.
  • From the stage, if you look back at the hall, the layout looks like you are sitting inside the serpent’s mouth — as if you’re being “swallowed.”

Symbolism from a Biblical Viewpoint

From a biblical evil perspective, the serpent is always a symbol of:

• Satan (Genesis 3:1 – “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast…”)
• Deception (Revelation 12:9 – “That old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…”)
• Death and separation from God.

Having a Christian audience hall — the place where popes speak to the world — inside a structure designed like a serpent’s head is deeply symbolic.
It screams a spiritual warning: this is not of Christ.
It matches exactly what Revelation says will happen in the last days: false religion, Satanic deception, and the beast rising to appear holy but actually devour souls.

Summary (Evil Perspective):

• The serpent design = Symbol of Satan and deception.
• The mutated Christ statue = Twisted image, not biblical resurrection.
• The setting for papal addresses = Spiritual infiltration, preparing the world for false worship.

Many serious Bible believers and watchmen see the Vatican’s serpent imagery as a sign of the Great Apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3) — and a warning that Mystery Babylon is already here, deceiving billions under a false banner of Christianity.

The INVERTED Crosses

The inverted cross, often associated with the Vatican due to its frequent use in its architecture and symbolism, leaves many to wonder about its purpose. Let’s explore it from both perspectives, good or evil.

Historical Background

The inverted cross is actually rooted in early Christian history and was used to honor Saint Peter, one of Jesus Christ’s apostles. According to tradition, Saint Peter was crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die in the same manner as Jesus. Thus, the upside-down cross came to represent humility, sacrifice, and the martyrdom of Saint Peter, not evil.

However, over time, particularly with the rise of popular culture and the association of certain symbols with Satanism or anti-Christian movements, the inverted cross has been co-opted by some groups to represent rebellion against Christ.

In modern Satanism or occult symbolism, it may be seen as a symbol of defiance against God, often used to emphasize the rejection of Christian values and the embrace of individualism or perceived darker forces. Some people may view it as a deliberate mocking of the crucifix, turning a holy symbol upside down to represent the inversion of Christian teachings.

The Vatican Pinecone (also known as the Pine Cone Fountain) is an intriguing and enigmatic symbol that has captured the imaginations of many, especially when examined through a more skeptical or conspiratorial lens.
