Washington State Newspeak Dictionary Update
The purpose of Newspeak Dictionary updates is to control how we think by controlling how we talk, so as to advance the liberal agenda. Washington State University’s Inclusive Language Guide provides examples, as reported on by Campus Reform.
To obliterate the distinction between male and female:
Words like “moms and dads,” “he/she,” “mankind,” “freshman and freshmen” as well as “upperclassmen and upperclassman” are all discouraged.
To destigmatize criminality:
The guide warns against mentioning past or present incarceration status, as well as “language that defines people by their crimes and sentences,” such as “felon,” “inmate,” “offender,” “convict” and “ex-con/ex-convict.”
To blur the meaning of marriage so that it is desanctified and undermined:
The list also extends to romantic relationships, where the terms “husband/wife” and boyfriend/girlfriend” are to be avoided in favor of “spouse” and “partner.”
To promote the displacement of the American population via unlawful mass migration:
Another identity listed is national origin, and the words “illegal immigrant,” “foreign,” “first-world country” and “third-world country” are also discouraged. The site tells readers to “[r]emember that actions, not people, are illegal.”
The stated purpose of the guide is to assure no one says anything that could “exclude people” based upon identity. It’s still okay to say “Christofascist” and “bitter clinger” though.
On a tip from ABC of the ANC.
