The Return of the Three Questions
Gary responds to recent criticism that resurrects the “Three Questions Controversy” from 2023 and accuses Gary of promoting “full preterism.”
KIM: In general terms, the end-end is that “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Is. 11:9, Hab. 2:14) or:
All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the LORD’S and He rules over the nations (Ps. 22:27-28).
This is the Bible’s eschatological goal in world history.
GARY: Yes, this is the goal, but the response is like, “Oh, my! That’s it?”
KIM: Between here and there, there is a big gap of world-historical time to be considered.
GARY: But for many in our Reformed circles, as you know, if you start tinkering with the end-end, then you are labeled a heretic, and they say that people will burn in hell forever because of their refusal to follow creedal and confessional standards. I run into Christians all the time who have questions about the end-end. I am not going to sit back and condemn them for asking their questions about this. I am trying to work with them, but I am also saying to them let’s not spend so much time on the end-end. That is God’s business. Instead, let’s concentrate on dealing with what we should be doing now in this world. “How should we then live” now?

The critics do not even agree among themselves and continually hide behind creedal statements, yet refuse to interact with the biblical time statements.
