Strangely Prescient from 1995: “Die Hard With a Vengeance” on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

“Die Hard with a Vengeance,” the third of the “Die Hard” movies, came out in 1995. The script was original designed as a “Lethal Weapon” sequel, and though Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis had appeared in two of the same films, this was the first time they shared screen time. Everyone who saw it remembers Willis wearing the racist sign, the water puzzle, and the great chemistry between the two stars. But even though I have seen it at least four times since it came out 21 years ago, when it was on TV this week, I was very surprised that characters refer to both of this year’s Presidential front-runners.

Just finished watching “Die Hard 3” tonight (Sept 1 2016) and picked up on the reference to Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Also worth a mention is the fact that Sega released a video game called “Die Hard Trilogy (1996). At the end of the “Die Hard One” game the Twin Towers and be seen burning. Another prediction? -
