Boone Says Stanton's "starting To Move Around More Outside"
What is he, a zombie in Mindcraft?

I remember when Giancarlo Stanton’s elbow issue first came out of nowhere—I was skeptical then, and honestly, I still am. Here’s a guy who was locked in during the playoffs, absolutely crushing it, and suddenly he shows up to spring training with tennis elbow? Both elbows. It made no sense. None.
Then came the PRP injections—platelet-rich plasma treatments, round after round. Stanton admitted during spring that surgery on both elbows might be on the table. And once I looked into it more, it became clear that PRP isn’t a miracle cure. It doesn’t work for everyone. So if the injections don’t do the trick, what’s next? Rehab. And if that fails? Surgery. Real, season-altering surgery. What exactly are we waiting for here? What can are we kicking down the road?
And then, to make it worse, we get Aaron Boone trotted out like a spokesperson whose job is apparently to confuse everyone more than inform. Instead of clarity, we get babble. Ahead of Sunday’s game, Boone gave one of the most meaningless updates I’ve ever heard. He confirmed Stanton’s in New York, hitting in the cage—which is fine—but then he added that Stanton is “starting to move around more outside.”
What does that even mean? Is he a lab experiment who’s only now being let out into fresh air? Does he live in a dome? How does “moving around outside” relate to two bum elbows? Even Fansided echoed the confusion: “Was his ability to move around outside in question previously? How exactly does that affect his elbows? Is the calf issue from earlier this spring still a factor?”
Boone’s nonsense doesn’t inspire confidence. And here’s the truth: There’s no timeline for Stanton’s return. Zero. Nothing definitive. Just a vague sense of maybe-someday. Meanwhile, the Yankees desperately need his bat in the lineup, and all we’re hearing is that he’s getting some fresh air.
Honestly, if I had to guess? July. Maybe. The whole situation is a mess—and it’s frustrating as hell.
